| The 5100V has 8 MB of internal Flash memory for secure, short term, data storage. As standard, the 5100V has a removeable PC Flash Card slot accessible from the front. Data stored within the internal memory can be archived to the Flash card (or floppy) on demand or at preset intervals. The 5100V will give indication of how long its internal memory and that of the removable media installed will last according to the configuration of the recorder. Data is stored in a tamper-proof binary format that can be used for secure, long term records of your process. |

| Ethernet communications (FTP, modbus/TCP and SNTP) is standard on the 5100V. The 5100V can be configured to archive data automatically to an FTP Server. For example, a Windows 2000/XP PC running IIS. Archiving files over the Ethernet effectively gives a secure, infinite archiving capacity. |
